A Celebration of Black Freedom, Sound, and Spirit
This Juneteenth, Fannie’s Hang Suite returns with a powerful celebration of Black joy, resilience, and the beauty of the diaspora.
The evening features a listening room experience curated with the rhythms that connect us—from 90s R&B and soul to Afrobeat, funk, and freedom music rooted in the Black experience. We’ll move through the sounds that have carried our people, lifted our spirits, and kept us dancing through every era.
Our immersive conversation invites guests to reflect on what liberation looks and feels like today. We’ll ask:Who are we now? Where do we come from? What does it mean to be free, to belong, to be beautifully and unapologetically Black?
With candlelight, conversation, and carefully selected sounds, this Hang Suite is more than a vibe—it’s a cultural gathering. A space to remember, to rejoice, and to reimagine freedom…
