About the event
Addicted + Love is an intimate live music and DJ experience exploring love, desire, and the songs we can’t let go of.
Presented by DJ Fannie Mae and drummer CJ Thompson, the night flows between curated DJ sets and live musical moments, creating a shared rhythm driven by feeling. Rooted in R&B, neo soul, alternative R&B, and love centered hip hop, the sound is slow, intentional, and meant to be felt.
At the heart of the experience is The Request Line, an interactive element driven by online participation before and during the event. Guests submit song requests that are woven throughout the night, influencing DJ selections and inspiring live interpretations. Some songs stay true to the record. Others are reimagined live through vocals, drums, and spontaneous collaboration.
Singers in the room are welcome and may be invited to step into select moments, turning familiar love songs into intimate, one of one…
